Overview
News UX is unforgiving about speed and readability. Publishing velocity can break templates and taxonomies fast.
The platform had to support news, briefs, newsletters, and podcasts. Reliability mattered more than visual polish. Without strict structure, topics drift and navigation degrades. Under constant publishing pressure, small cracks become daily production fires.
Built the original WordPress experience with stable templates and clear information architecture. Later led management of the move to a headless CMS. Kept content models tight and templates durable under high publishing velocity.
Focused on operational UX. Maintained performance hygiene and security guardrails. Ensured the editorial team could publish fast without degrading the reader experience.
